She/Her
Design is everything to me. Through studying my HND I have discovered my specific passions within design. I particularly enjoy creating abstract pieces inspired particularly by femininity and also retro futuristic aesthetics. In my project Cyberfemme I was inspired by the male gaze and twisting the perception of this to allow women to enjoy their femininity and sexuality. I enjoy using abstract shapes and silhouettes to distort the female body and also incorporating cutouts into my designs to give an element of teasing for the male gaze.
I work well with fabrics and I enjoy working with fabrics to select what fabrics would work well to create the look I want. I am also good at working with fabrics to create different textures and visual effects.
I am going to complete my degree in fashion design at university so that i can further my design skills and develop myself further as a designer.
