DESIGN_
The fashion design students at The School of Fashion and Textiles have been making waves in the industry with their innovative designs. With a focus on personal expression and experimentation, these students have created their own concepts to inform their collections. Through the use of creative pattern cutting, manufacturing techniques, and a willingness to experiment with form, these students have transformed fabrics into unique and expressive looks. By incorporating fine art practices and fabric manipulation, they have created pieces that are not only beautiful but tell a story about the individual wearing them. Overall, these fashion design students represent the future of the industry, pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo with their personal and experimental approach to fashion design.

TECHNOLOGY_
The School of Fashion and Textiles is proud to present the latest graduate collection from our skilled technology students. This year's project challenged our students to design for one of the most innovative and iconic fashion designers of our time - Alexander McQueen.
Manufacturing, technical detail, tailoring, and innovative pattern cutting skills were the key areas of focus for the students. The brief required the students to create designs that accurately reflected McQueen's unique style and aesthetic while showcasing their individual creativity and technical abilities.
To kickstart the project, the students were taken on a research trip to London. There they had the opportunity to visit the Alexander McQueen flagship store and gain access to the designer's archives. The visit proved to be an inspirational and educational experience for the students, providing them with insight and understanding of McQueen's design philosophy, influences, and techniques.
The resulting collection is a testament to our students' dedication, creativity, and hard work. We invite you to explore this collection and witness the culmination of our students' education and training in the field of fashion and textiles.
