My favourite project throughout the year has to be the ‘tactile’ interior design project. Working with both 2d and 3D within the course, I have discovered 2d is personally better meaning this project enlightened me as working with wallpapers and having the chance to design my own interested me more. This project was also different as it had the aspect of a specific client and colour palette to work from although this was difficult to stick to I was up for the challenge. Despite enjoying to work in 2d, I do love working with textures, different fabrics and colour. Experiencing weaving on the loom has been a great adventure which brings all my favourite elements of textiles together. My most liked part of all the projects is creating the design, using my imagination and creative thoughts to hand draw ideas on paper before creating samples or choosing the fabrics is my best-loved. In the future I plan to carry on my fashion experience to higher level as I feel like I have so much to learn.
