I had never taken much interest in printed textiles until this course. However, two years of studying has opened my eyes to the print industry and career opportunities I never knew existed. I have always enjoyed creating bold expressive drawings without fully knowing what to do with them, but I have now gained the skills to look at elements of my drawings that I find interesting and taking them onto screens to be printed, this is something over time I have become talented at.

I find the process of creating a print fascinating, starting off with an inspiration photo to draw and create collages from, to being able to see what the outcome would look like with the power of CAD photoshop. This skill has especially helped me when creating interior print ideas where I can turn my visions into reality.
