I have always been interested in crafts but textiles have always stood out the most. I enjoyed the hand-crafting side, such as embroidery, weaving and crochet.  A specific project I enjoyed the process of was my morphology project. For this project, I had to photograph different forms at the Glasgow botanical gardens I then went on to select my most successful photos for creating a wallpaper & fabric print collection. My project my two main grounds had repeat pattern I got the design inspiration from the shapes of glass windows I had seen walking around the botanical gardens and the repeat of flowers & leaves, i always find it exciting to have my process gathered into a sketchbook to look back on and see my work progression.

My other favourite project was the kinetic project creating my own 3D dimensional still lifes using objects & joining mechanisms then creating a final piece using print & fabric samples for a leather bag. I created grounds and textural grounds that matched my photos to do a drawing workshop as the process helped to find my print design & I learned different pen techniques.
