I am a hoarder of all thing’s fabric and clothes and like fine wine I believe these things get better with age. Sustainability and the minimising of fashion and textile waste is of great importance to me, therefore I wanted to show this in my final collection with the use of well sourced fabric and the reuse of clothes found in the back of my closet. As designers I feel it's our job to right the wrongs of large fast fashion brands one garment at a time.

Although I am a great lover of layers and oversized fits, I wanted my final collection to demonstrate my sewing ability with clean lines, different textures and attention to detail with the trims and finishes chosen throughout. After all, I chose fashion technology as a course to get right down to the nitty gritty for garment construction.

Currently, I work one day a week for an independent brand sewing their garments and I feel my precision and speed have come on leaps and bounds through my time with them. My strengths lie in my sewing abilities, and I am at my happiest sat in front of a sewing machine for hours on end. I have previous experience managing restaurants/ bars and shops and my skills gained throughout have proven to be transferable making me a trustworthy addition to any small business.
