My name is Jenny Sabban. I am 19 years old, and I grew up in Rutherglen, Glasgow. I’m half Scottish and half Israeli and was born in London. I always loved art at school and developed an early interest in fashion through a love of old movies. I have now completed three years at Glasgow Clyde College and am moving on to Heriot Watt University to complete my degree in Fashion Technology. I am passionate about sustainability and love nature and animals. My design style focuses on shape, femininity, and female empowerment. On completion of my degree, I plan to open my own business as a designer. My McQueen inspired collection is named ‘Full bloom’. My collection was inspired by orchids, I felt drawn to their striking, signature colours. The magenta dress emerging from under the green coat emulates an orchid in bloom.
