During the pandemic I was given a family member’s old sewing machine and started learning, that same year i started studying fashion and have become even more obsessed. I recently have preferred to work with unconventional materials such as liquid latex to make fabric and corsets, these garments are often interesting to look at as they’re so detailed. Another one of my favourite way of designing has been upcycling garments with painted bleach designs and hope to expand further on this and create a small collection with bleached garments. I also hope to be continuing my studies at Glasgow Caledonian University over the next two years, I want to spend the summer beforehand to make some fun personal projects mainly focusing on upcycling things that myself and my family already own but also creating original designs.
