Designing quickly became special to me, specifically the creative part of me that grew around a cultured family surrounded by patterns, fabrics and customising traditional clothing. I enjoy drawing and use different techniques to bring inspiration to projects as well as gathering research for the project and creating mood boards. Over the years my skills in Photoshop have improved drastically and I enjoy drawing and editing images and mood boards on the app. The project is inspired by my recent visit to Morocco and the culture that surrounds the place. Especially since culture has been an important thing in my family, being surrounded by fabrics, patterns and traditions relevant to my own culture. I was inspired by the architecture and importance of florals in the architecture to create the collection. I plan to join into 3rd year at Caledonian University for the ‘Fashion with Business’ course and intend to work in the fashion industry after graduation. After a couple years in the industry, picking up more experience and skills, I intend to start my own business.
