My collection is inspired by distressed and curvature architecture, which has inspired me to develop as well as explore different techniques to portray with the use of fabric materials. Taking something so structured as architectural pieces and completely flipping the perspective on it, influenced this collection heavily. Throughout this collection I gained new skills to tie in textile details to add depth and dimension into pieces. As well as using more unconventional materials such as metal to add structure and movable bends in the garments. My final work is sourced from my design process, from learning how to work with experimental techniques to elevate garments in more of an expressive way. Tying in with the source research. After college, I will be continuing to further my education and explore the fashion stylist side of the industry.
