INNOVATORS : Digital Showcase 20/21

Digital Showcase 2021The School of Fashion and Textiles will be presenting the class of 2021 student work at an online Showcase on 17th June at 7.30pm. This will be a chance to see work from second year students from HND Fashion Design, HND Textiles and HND Fashion Technology. We will also be showcasing student work on our new website and each student will have their own portfolio profile.

Fashion Design //

Innovators, the adaptation of the new norm. For the past year we have had to adapt to so many changes to allow us to create our work and grow as people whilst living through this on-going global crisis.As Innovators this has meant embracing the challenges of working from home for a long period of time and each exploring our own individual creativity in the process. It means learning to work as a team, whilst alone and in isolation. It means having the discipline and motivation to create. Innovation is about adapting, improvising with what we have around us and learning along the way.

Fashion Technology //

This time has given us so many opportunities to learn and grow which we have grasped with both hands.Working virtually has enhanced our abilities in so many ways that can’t be seen yet. The future is now, and learning will continue to be enhanced by utilising the technological advances we have experienced this past year. We now feel lucky to have been a part of this experience and recognise the value it has brought us, our work, and our ability to adapt, to innovate.
