You shouldn’t have to compromise looking good in order to be modest. I have always had an eye for fashion however when it comes to modesty, I’ve always found that there’s a lack of modest- wear that actually has an element of fashion/trend in it.
Hence why, my focus is to blend the two worlds together and create pieces that represent both; modesty and fashion which is what I’m working on with my current project.
I would say i have the mind of an artist. I notice the smallest details in something so therefore tend to find a lot of faults, which is why I’m at fashion technology. I aim for perfection which then challenges me and I experiment and make lots of mistakes as I’m toiling- find answers from those mistakes and therefore learn from them. I have an eye for colour, I like to mix vintage with modern and I get personal with my projects. I want the pieces I design/create to mean something.
