I was recently enjoying looking for light-heartedness, humour and playfulness in my own designs. It often led me into aesthetics of pop and kitsch as well as exploration of multifaceted nature of femininity. As a result I was drawn upon usage of bright colours, fun and silly trims and decorative design features such as ruffles and frills.

The most important thing I have learned at college is the basics of pattern drafting. Understanding how garments are made and being able to translate a 3D shape into 2D shape and vice versa was not only satisfying but also extremely useful.

After graduation, I will think very hard about what sustainable fashion means to me with the intention to turn that thinking into a small and slow womenswear fashion brand.
