Future: Looking for opportunities to start a career in the fashion industry.

Martyna Sacha-Rajnfus The Witch Trials took place in the 16th-18th century. These events asked questions about human nature and what energies run this world. Are we part of it or strangers here? What makes people decide who is a “sinner” and what “sin” really means. My project is inspired by works that relate to this: a horror movie “Silent Hill”  directed by Christophe Gans, and the Kate Bush song “Waking the Witch”. When creating my collection I applied lacings on bodices and sleeves, which is reminiscent of the Puritans aesthetic of the 16th century. Three-dimensional squares inspired by doors from movie scenes,  behind which you can hide. I used innocent colours: white, lilac, and blue. Some indigo details on the bodice are hand-painted with watercolour. I am happy that my collection reflects the story I want to tell and despite all the difficulties this year this collection was still able to be created. After college, I would like to start working in the fashion industry to gain more skills.
