Fern Khwansong My collection is based around the Ocean, with a focus on 'the plastic ocean', looking into crushed plastic textures and the movement of the ocean wave. Also to inform people to stop putting plastic into the ocean. It is my favourite project because I got to experiment and do primary research from home, by crushing and twisting plastic bags and bottles, to create the crushed texture. The collection is all about evening wear. I also enjoy working digitally and working on my own projects such as drawing fashion illustration, designing clothes, and making my own clothes. I am looking for a work placement after this course that is fashion related. In the future, I would like to have my own business designing clothes, such as luxury party dresses, evening wear, tops, and trousers. I want to design clothes that I love to wear, in the hopes that my customers feel the same way too.
