My name is Andrew Wason, I am twenty-three years old and my interest in fashion and
sewing began only a few years ago at the beginning of the pandemic. Like everyone else I
wasn’t up to much and had a lot of spare time on my hands so decided to play around with
my mums old sewing machine. After a few months of enjoying the creative process, I
decided to enrol in college to sharpen and grow my skills and learn more. Through my time
at Glasgow Clyde I have discovered I a true enjoyment for pattern drafting as well as sewing
and hope to take these skills further into a full time career in the fashion industry. My
creative aesthetic is very fantasy based and I believe this is reflected in my McQueen
themed collection.
