I love creating. I love turning my sketches into a real garment that I can hold and feel. It is hugely rewarding seeing my own personal project come to life. This year, I have been working on the approach to bringing nature and the city together. It’s a project and topic that I’m completely passionate about. Ruffles became very important to me throughout my design
process, they are to embody the growing effect of nature upon buildings. Studying this course has really shown me that you can create a whole fashion collection from anything and researching and developing ideas has become a process that I thoroughly enjoy. It has opened my eyes to looking at things on a deeper level because if you look close enough it gives you a thousand different ways to get creative about it. That has made me fall in love with designing even more. I am excited to start a new chapter as I progress onto university. My confidence as a designer and most importantly as a person has grown highly and that is something that’s made me incredibly proud.
