Fashion has always been a way of self-expression to me, so being able to fully create the ideas I have in my head into fully completed garments has been the most awarding thing from this course. Being an older student starting back was daunting however taking the leap has been the best thing I have done, My aesthetic is minimal streetwear and I love playing with oversized silhouettes, muted and monochromatic tones. The last two years at Glasgow Clyde have been such a great beginning to my fashion journey, construction of garments is one of my main focuses and enjoyments within the process of fashion. I am currently part of the Herriot Watt associate program and will be progressing to 3rd year Fashion Technology to further my development in this side of the industry to focus on commercial manufacturing.
