My current work is focused on the theme of light refraction and communicating motion & distortion in my work. Throughout my project my strengths have been my design development constantly evolving my designs and concepts in line with my research, this project has made me take a more abstract take on my work focusing on linear forms and shape, I think of my designs as wearable sculpture and dehumanising the process of design. I’ve also really enjoyed and thrived in my commercial design unit, working on menswear was really refreshing and I’m currently considering doing menswear in the future possibly even merging menswear with my more conceptual design style. I’m working as seamstress for a kilt shop & moving forward to Ba fashion design with business at Glasgow Caledonian University into 3rd year this September. I’m interested in any creative work opportunity’s.
